A few pieces in the workshop right now

My name is Leona, and I am a woodturner based in County Meath, Ireland.
My journey with woodturning began in my workshop as a personal hobby – a creative outlet where I could slow down, focus my mind, and work with my hands. Over time, it grew into a deep passion, eventually progressing into local craft markets and the business you see today.
I am also a proud member of The Irish Woodturners Guild.

Every piece I create is entirely unique and handcrafted with care. I work with a beautiful variety of sustainably sourced timbers, specialising in native Irish hardwoods like Oak and Ash, as well as non native Irish Beech, Sycamore, and Chestnut, alongside rich tones of Cherry, Walnut and Yew.
I am deeply inspired by the history hidden within the wood, always sourcing my timber from naturally fallen or locally salvaged trees.

I love to let the natural grain, unique knots, and organic flaws of the timber dictate the final shape on the lathe.
Everything I turn is crafted to be both beautiful and functional, made to be used and enjoyed every day.
Please enjoy browsing my online store, and I hope you find the perfect piece of Irish wood art for your home.
